Our Parking lot Entrance Banner

The ceremony site is a little tucked away so I wanted to make sure everyone saw it by creating a banner that will match the aisle runner I will be making later on. The ceremony site parking lot has a pretty fence around it so I am planning to hang this on that fence. Later I will probably use it for wall decor of our home somehow.

Here are the materials I used:
-pencil
- masking tape for mounting the fabric onto the wall to trace onto the fabric
- projector (my mom is a teacher so I used hers)
-2 yards of cotton material ($4.00 at JoAnna's fabric store)
- about 3 oz of black acrylic paint ($1.75 for an 8 oz bottle at Walmart)
-about .5 oz of red acrylic paint ($.59 at Micheal's for a 3oz bottle)
-paint brush (had previously bought a set of brushes of all sizes for $5 at Hobby Lobby)
So my total estimated cost was $6.00
Total estimated time spent on this project was 4 hours

How I did it:
I played around with Word until I found exactly what I wanted our banner to look like. I then went to my mom's school and put the design onto her projector so it was up on the wall. I then taped my cotton fabric onto the wall so the projected image was right in the center. I traced onto the fabric with a pencil. I then painted everything black and when it was dry I went over the K in red. I used a very small paint brush on this project.

How it turned out:
